Ladakh

We landed in Delhi, flew up to Ladakh and spent a few days in Leh acclimatising to the altitude and waiting for Marie-Josee and Luigi to arrive from Canada. We then journeyed west by jeep to Lamayuru, hoping to find a pony man to guide us on our long walk south. After a few days hanging around we found the amazing Stanzing, with his ponies, and then we walked through the mountains and over many high passes for just over 3 weeks to Darsha on the Leh-Manali main road. From there we caught the bus south to Manali. After a few days in Manali recuperating, we travelled back to Delhi by bus. We then visited the Taj Mahal in Agra and also spent a few days travelling west to see a small part of Rajasthan in Jaipur.
