We've ridden all over Malaysia, so just ask if you're unsure about a route. We can also give you lots of great ideas for heading North or even East from KL, A lot of it has also been ridden on a road bike, so I know loads of the quieter roads. Malaysian drivers are really nice, horns aren’t used, and they give you room. Don’t ride in the gutter, and ignore all traffic lights, unless there are cars coming.

In the city, knowing the route in one direction does not mean that you know it in the other direction. I have got badly stuck when I have occasionally forgotten this fact. Use the correct routes (below) to leave or enter the city, and DON'T ROUTE, just follow the line!
